Property Assessment Appeal Form

Note: Filing this form will create a review of the County's value of the property being appealed. Reasonable notice hereby provided that an onsite inspection by a member of the county appraisal staff may be required. Be advised that an appeal of your 2025 Real Property assessment may remove the 299C value protection (“299C freeze”) for this tax year. Additionally, pursuant to Georgia HB 581 and HB 92, a number of changes have been enacted for tax year 2025 (effective Jan. 1). Please note that the prior calendar year TRANSACTION value is no longer the maximum fair market value for the current tax year and “299C” frozen values only apply in the event that the property decreases in value upon appeal.
